Optometric training provider, the Optom Academy, will host an online charity lecture later this month in memory of brain tumour campaigner Amani Liaquat.
22-year-old Liaquat had recently graduated in law when she was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in 2020. She unfortunately passed away in 2022.
The evening CPD-accredited lecture, entitled Brain Tumour and Vision, will be delivered by optometrist Lorcan Butler.
The lecture will take place on 26 March at 5.30pm via Zoom. There is a £5 fee to join, with all proceeds raised being donated to The Brain Tumour Charity and Brain Tumour Research.

You may wish to correct your article to reflect the fact that Amani was not an optometry graduate, but a law graduate.
